Best PSP RPG for story *Vita Compatible*

8 replies 644 views Edited Mar 6, 2012

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy IV TCC and am hoping to play another RPG after that. I was wondering what the best RPG is in terms of story and is Vita compatible?

I want to say Persona 3 for the PSP because I really did enjoy that.
Mana Khemia is a good one too and rather cheap.

Crimson Gem http://www.gamespot.com/crimson-gem-saga/

I liked it due to it's classic style RPG kept me busy for 40+ hours (if your want the better ending) and I had a lot of fun with it. This did challenge me a bit meaning I coulnd't just go from spot to spot without a little training but I like that in an RPG/JRPG. Story was interesting kept me going I liked the characters and found it a "gem" from other rpg's I played at the time for the PSP I would look into this.

Brave Story http://www.gamespot.com/brave-story-new-traveler/platform/psp/

Really I found this to be ok at best 20+ hours to beat and wasn't a challenge to me. Story wasn't at par with most RPG didn't care about the charcters at all around the middle of the game,  when it was over I was glad.

Adventure to Go! http://www.gamespot.com/adventures-to-go/

Have yet to try this but I have heard mixed reviews good and bad so when I have nothing to play I will be checking this out.

I hope this helps you out, please post what you choose  I am interested to see what you pick in the end. I am playing the last installment of Armored Core on the Vita atm since I just beat Silent lines completly. Unit 13 comes out tomorrow so that will keep me going for a bit longer I guess  -Adventure to Go!- will have to wait a bit.

Persona 3 is a great game with a good daily story that you have to live through. It makes up for the rather generic overarching tale.

Can someone explain the Persona games to me? From the videos and stuff I have seen, the games seem a bit weird, sort of like a weird Anime, but I could be totally off.

If you like MOsnter Hunter, I have it on my PSP and I can change the rigth joystick to controlt he camera. 100% Worth it!

Also to add my thougths to RPGs, Disgaea 2 is Comptable and it's a FANTASTIC game. Of all the DIsgaea games it has my favorite story and is less sily than the others. can put a lot of time into it too =).
