Automatic Update/Corrupted Data

4 replies 279 views Edited Nov 28, 2012

I noticed whenever my PS3 does an automatic update, it leaves a corrupted data file on my HDD (under games in the XMB). The file itself doesn't have any real file size, but they do stack up over time.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this behavior...

I ran a Restore Database and Restore File System today and had three 0KB Corrupted Data files under my games menu, along with a 7.5GB file that was for who knows what.

I haven't noticed but I'll definitely look into it.
