But you will be able to connect your Vita to your PS3 and unlock content in both of the Assassin's Creeds.

i know cross play/cross controller is awsome but if u really think about it, cross play only works for multiplayer or co-op. and cross controller is just extra function to the game.

So it's not crossplay but there is going to be some functionality between the two games? Does anyone know what this is?

Yeah but the wipeout games are different games as well. I guess it is easier because of the format in that it is a relatively simple game t o share maps. Oh well one can dream.

Wipeout 2048 cross-play on the Vita only functions via the Wipeout HD/Fury DLC courses (four of which were included with 2048 from day one).  The Wipeout 2048-exclusive courses cannot be played on a PS3 via cross-play.

I read a while back that AC:Liberation will not ship with multiplayer functionality, and that it will be added via free DLC at a later date (read: a couple/few weeks).  It was a necessary cut to make sure the game released at the same time as ACIII.  On that note, the MP features of AC:L will be drastically different than the MP in ACIII, mostly due to the control schemes available on the Vita.

If I come across the article again, I'll link it, but it was prior to the confirmation that AC:L was even going to have multiplayer, so things may have changed.
