AC2 was purchased right after the PSN rebooted from the hacking scandal. I was under free PS+ (and paying member ever since then), aparently there have been reports of a PS+/AC2 bug where after purchase the game is set to expire, and the game does not show in the download list. I've seen it on other parts of this forum for other users, but talking to support on the phone they're not letting on that this is a known problem. I was promised a refund 3 weeks ago and have (not to my surprise) seen nothing. I guess i'll be Sony supports best phone friend for a while longer. My purchased copy of AC2 expired on 06/03/12.
Update: after the 3rd call in about a month (~ 1 hour each) Sony did the right thing and refunded while i was on the phone. Support staff is very patient and really willing to help, but it seems their hands are severely tied, which leads to customer and support staff frustration. There are layers of supervisors they have to go through to get anything done.
