Anyone else find the Vita "clumsy" or sluggish?

1 replies 40 views Edited Apr 14, 2012

Don't get me wrong, I am mostly satisfied with the Vita as a device.  Plus, Trophy support is nice.  Holler! :3

But anyone else find it slow when you load up applications, especially friends list, having to reload (i.e. "Please Wait..") every time, or even re-signing into PSN whenever you load.

  • Apps don't run in the background. (they're on standby)
  • No automated notifications for, say, messages (requires refreshing or auto 15 mins update).
  • Sometimes I am uncertain whether or not I am connected to the PlayStation Network.
  • Some games disable network features (i.e. Uncharted: Golden Abyss)

I mean, if it's a matter of battery saving, I understand.  But like, what about when it's plugged in the charger?

I dunno where I'm getting it, I guess I'm just venting about it.  Maybe I had my expectations too high? :/

Don't get me wrong, I'm loving the Vita and the price is worth it, but I just hoped the experience would be seamless, I guess. :/

(Yes, I do have that many trophies and yes, I am *that* fabulous.)

Nope, the Vita is just fine. Not sluggish or clumsy at all.
