44 in 14 a true child of the golden age of gaming.
I keep a couple of my old friends in my office to remind me of the smell of quarters and the sounds of a full arcade.
Game on man, Game on!
The truth will set you free... But it may sting a bit...
44 here, still a player but I'm much more picky in what I play now. In my younger days I would play anything that could be played, action, adventure, sports, you name it. Nowadays I mostly only play tactical (like Heroes of Might & Magic, Eador, etc), grand strategy (not real time) like Crusader Kings 2 and Europa Universalis 4, and turn based or pausable RPGs (not action RPGs) like the Persona and Mana Khemia series (unfortunately this type of RPGs seem to have been relegated by console game developers, but they are resurging in the PC with kickstarter initiatives).
Didn't really go crazy until I was about 10. I would save my lunch money, collect bottles for the deposit, search all couch cushions and scrape together anything I could to stop at a little carpet store on my way home from school. Which (for some reason) had a Double Dragon machine in the lobby... I think I kept that place in business with my change.
