Well, for the past few weeks, I haven't been able to wirelessly connect my PS3 to the internet. I used to be able to, but after I reset my router, I can no longer connect. I know it's not a problem with my router because I restored everything on my router back to normal, but I have been messing with my PS3s internet settings so that is probably the problem. I keep gettting the 80710102 DNS Error code. I have tried using many different DNS servers, but none have worked. I'm pretty sure it's not my router, because I have multiple different devices (no other game consoles though) connected to it wirelessly.
Here is a list of DNS servers I used:
My PS3 is in a DMZ zone.
My ISP is Verizon, I'm getting FIOS service at 25 mbps
Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do? Any other DNS servers, maybe? I'd really appreciate the help.
Hi, have a look at the Thread, a link to which I have provided below, its pretty informative & may give you some ideas as to what to try next.
The Thread is located in the Playstation Network Support Forum where questions of this nature are answered.
Hmmm, nothing really helped. Is it cool if I just copy and paste this thread over to that forum though? Or is someone gonna move this thread there?
Sorry nothing helped you out, & as for your Thread, you could PM a MOD & ask them to move it there, which they probably will, failing that, yea go ahead & make another Thread over there.
