About PSN PASS after delete games & reinstall?

9 replies 475 views Edited Jul 9, 2011

With Sony Introduces 'PSN Pass' Program

Fair dues I don't mind them doing it, my only concern is if I delete a main game data file do I lose the online pass?

As I only have a 40gb drive I need to delete games & reinstall  as I play them. If I delete & feel like playing it again 6 months  later will I still have access to online? If not its a slap in the face  for those still running the original ps3's with smaller drives.

I'm sure the online pass will be in your download list for later access should you need to re-download it.

Perhaps you should consider spending a few bucks and getting a larger HDD.

The PSN Pass is system specific. Like when get games from the PSN that have a demo unlock key. I deleted everything about Call of Duty Classic and I redownloaded it to use as a thing I will be doing on Youtube but it was the full game.

Photobucket

You can download more than five times.

You can download as many times as you need to on any PS3 activated to your account.

You can have five PS3s activated to your account at one time.

PSN pass is linked to your PSN account like others said, so deleting your data, won't prevent you from playing online, about re downloading it, you don't need to go to the download list, once you redeem the online code, it marks the online pass as boughten in the store, so you just need to go to the game icon in the store, click on the pass, and hit redownload. however I am not entirely sure if you would even need to re download it, it could be recorded in the services, and always be active on that account. I am not 100% sure on that, but either way download is always available.
