Ability to deactivate all content.

3 replies 139 views Edited Sep 1, 2013

When will the ability to deactivate all content on any system be released. Either my systems get broken or they get stolen. And since I can't get the physical console to deactivate the systems I can't get rid of the content which sucks for me. I know you can go to sony entertainment and deactivate game content but I want to get rid off all my content.

If it happens that often... you need to move. But that sucks man.

Anyway, you can do it online. Have been able to for about 2 years now.

log-in to

http://www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/home/

Go to "Manage Account" > Account > Game then "Deactivate All"

Then select the PS3's you want to deactivate.

You can do one mass account deactivation across all Playstation consoles once every 6 months. So be aware of that.

Also, you will want to call Sony to tell them the situation and  have them deactivate your PS3's Music and Video properties. So you can start fresh on a new PS3.

Its also a good idea to change your PSN ID email and account password.
