A question about a PSP game and VITA

14 replies 160 views Edited May 15, 2013

Ok I have a question, I've found Thrillville: Off the rails on the PS Store for the PSP. Now my question is if I buy the game through the store, will it be able to play on my VITA as well?

As I remember the game didnt say anything about VITA in the description, it was marked as a PSP game. Thanks for any help.

If the Store states only PSP, then it is playable only on PSP.  It will not work on the Vita.  I don't know of any exceptions since the webstore went live a couple of months ago.

Ahh =/ I really liked the ps2 version and was hoping to play it on the Vita.

How can I tell which PSP games play for the VITA? I dont want to end up getting the wrong one

You could go on the PS Store on the Vita and go to the PSP games section.

The easiest way is to shop the store on the Web on a PC Browser (Firefox or Safari work best).

https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com

Each game will have a "Playable on:" section directly beneath the Price and Add To Cart button.

Will it say this for games that have to be downloaded to your PS3 first and then transferred over to the Vita?

Your best bet is just to Google it. Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters for PSP works on the Vita, but it isn't listed as compatible.

That, I can't say for sure.  I don't own a lot of PSP games, and don't want to buy any random PSP games to try it with...
