ps3 had been out since 2006, and these problems still occur. i jsut odnt understand why. pc gaming is fine, 360 gaming is fine, ps3 gaming = disconnections.

I'll play pc and ps3 games anyday..you can solve connection issues without money..360 gaming is not flawless because their hardware is terrible; thank you very much atleast with my connection issues i can play single player games more often without fretting over getting kills online Smiley Tongue

Re: 80710092

It seems you are not the only one with this problem. A friend of mine and I were enjoying some MW2 when he abruptly disconnected. Via text messages I walked him through the steps to resolve his DNS issue that the error code pointed to,(Command Prompt, Ipconifig  /flushdns, IPconfig /registerdns). This proved completely ineffective, as it did not resolve the issue. I then had him disable the media server connection, which also did not work. While we were working his problem I disconnected from the server. So, with my troubleshooting completed, I come to this conclusion. The PSN is having "isolated" connection issues, when trying to access their servers. As a Network Tech, I understand that these problems arise so for that I am not upset. However, my frustration arises at the lack of attention the PSN techs shows the little people(the millions worldwide who use PSN). I mean, all that we initially ask is some acknowledgement that the network is having problems. Our next concern is a timely resolution to the problem. Now maybe in this forum we can assist the techs at the PSN with some simple information. I will gladly start, I have an 80 Gig, fatboy, backward compatible model.

Thank you, I try to be as informative as possible, mostly to prevent people from wasting their time doing the same things others have already tried. Especially if it won't work.
