I can't add funds or make any purchases from the PlayStation Store. Getting kinda ***** off, bought my PS3 just a few days ago and already having issues like this.
I was making successful purchases from the PlayStation Store 2 days ago with the same exact debit card, there's plenty of $ on my account, I've tried re-entering my debit card (successfully) into my billing info, I contacted my ISP (Comcast) and there's no problems on their end, I contacted my card company and they said there's no problems with it.
I'm pretty much assuming this is some problem @ Sony and the supports are just not very useful, I spoke with 1 who went over basic possible fixes with me for like an hour (redoing my network settings, checking if I can go into multiplayer, resetting my router, tried connecting directly to my modem) etc. etc. and ultimately it didn't fix the problem. She sent me an e-mail to open ports (which are already open) and if not then call back.
So I called PlayStation support back and the next guy said the same stuff and ultimately said it's not Playstation's end and I should just go buy a Playstation network card.
By the way this happened all day yesterday and today too.. so idk what to do, connection is fine, debit card is fine, PS3 is fine/new/updated, 80023102 over and over and I'm trying to make purchases.
It happened to me last night. The info they had on file said my card expired. It did you know the card issuer sends a new one and I never remember to update on PSN until I get this error. I updated and completed my purchase. It took about 5 minutes. Check that first.
