Wow, that's a gigantic drop. Any particular reason? This seems like a caution worthy number to anyone willing to adopt this device. That raised my eyebrow when I saw it... No sense in investing in something that won't be supported for long. I wonder what the cause of this could be? Maybe a holdout in shipments, because maybe they ran out of WiFi models or something? Maybe a lack of certain games?
Waiting to hear number of sales next month because if it doesn't spike then, I think buying it will be questionable. Would really love to have it though..
I don't care about sales. Marketing is Sony's job. Having fun with the system is mine. And I know Vita will be awesome and I'll get it.
Remember that this IS japan.
Nintendo just released huge Mario titles and such, so obviously 3DS is going to be super popular. And besides, Christmas time=normal time in Japan.
Give it a few weeks, it's sure to balance out.
Now, if in the next few weeks, sales REMAIN low, then you can be concerned about it.
this drop in sales is bad for sure. if it drops again I would really start to worry. again not sure why the sudden drop either.
Want a option to buy avatar's on the ps vita's psn store. Then vote on the link by copying it to your web browser.
But what if they stop making games and all like the psp is all I'm saying lol.
eh? under my PS+ subscription I downloaded new minis onto my PSP just last week. New stuff continues to come out for PSP. The minis distribution and production will probably increase once Sony gets their smartphone business (and their "playstation certified" program) off the ground.
I wouldn't read a lot into the sales numbers. Two data points is not a trend. If you look at the raw numbers, Wii passed PS3 in sales from the pre Christmas week to Christmas week!!! OMG! The world is ending!!!
Wait until supply issues are straight and the supply chain is fully functioning (probably end of 1st 1/4) and take the temperature then.
