Hi,I heard that if somebody has a 3d TV connected with a ps3,he won't have to play call of duty,or any other game in split screen 2 players.Each player will look at his own screen.Is this true,or just a rumour?

I think you're referring to SimulView, which is where if a 3D TV supports SimulView, players would no longer have to see split screen while playing local multiplayer. Not all TVs support it, though.

Actually any passive 3DTV should be able to support this function, because it can be setup manually. One just needs special glasses to make it all work.

The Sony 3D display just does this automatically for you.

Don't the games need to support it first? I have he PlayStation 3D TV, and I've only seen the option for SimulView in the settings for games...

The game needs to support it if you are using Sony's 3D display, because it must be automatically configured. With a passive 3D display, you can have a Simulview like feature (LG calls it Dual Play) with any multiplayer splitscreen game. It must be configured manually, but it is easy to do.
