I dont mind the 29 GB but it is not advertised anywhere in the specs. I have supported the vita from the beginning but this seems like a blatant example of false advertisng. I paid a pretty penny for the 32 gb memory card and when i found out 3 gb were missing i was enfuriated. at the current price of $79.99 for the "32gb" mem card thats about $2.50 per gb, I feel i was ripped off of $7.50. Imagine if the 4gb memory card only had one gigabyte! The 29gb fact is not acknowledged in the specs or anywhere on the box or online that i found. i do understand memory is not exactly as advertised but it is advertised somewhere on the product specs as to what the physical memory would be.

ok, so you're complaining about losing 3GB? I have a 1.5TB in my ps4 and I lose about 300GB after format, you dont see me complaining. It has nothing to do with sony. Its just how storages are. Its always been that way and always will be.

So what if I told you when you buy a external drive or any flash memory it's less than advertised ALWAYS. There's a reason unknown by normal consumer, but here is an article explaining why it isn't false advertising. It's understandment of the technology that will allow you to move on from this trivial concern.
