I have pretty much decided that I have to go back to my USB HDD for sports and RPG games, that way there is plenty of space for everything else. Too bad Sony will not help us out and give us more than 150MB of storage ...
Sony should do something, but the mods ignore almost everything PS+ ish ... it would be nice if someone would acknowledge "... yes we understand, no we don't intend to do anything ..."
150MB is soooo small ...
I'm at the point where I now have to put in games in order to turn off the cloud feature, delete files at least once a week from the cloud, and remember to backup to my USB HDD. It is very disappointing. I almost wish Sony would have only offered the feature on copy protected games, because now I am very spoiled on the feature, but hate having to constantly manage my saves.
I like that Idea ...
"They should just offer additional storage capacity that people can pay for and even just the option to get online storage without Plus. It's a nice free add-on but offering it as a paid seperate service is good too."
If you haven't already you can suggest it here: http://share.blog.us.playstation.com/
I tried to suggest few things in the past but they never showed up. It feels like something is wrong with my account. If anyone else would like to do it it may get pretty popular. Not sure if there is one already.
- I'm not a Playstation fanboy. I despise MS. It's different.
My free webmail accounts give 5 - 10 GB. I pay good money for PS+. I was shocked when they announced it was only 150 MB not nearly enough for a pay service that they double dip by also mining me for marketing data from everything I do on my PS3.
I would hope for at least 5GB. Every consumer electronic device these days comes with free cloud storage. My Asus tablet came with 8 free GB of Asus cloud. Come on Sony, I get 150Mb after buying my console games controlers cameras and subscribe to PS+ because its the only copy protected save backup solution you offer me.... sigh
