Just tell them you're into Home, and BOOM say hello to MVP status.

That's not entirely true. I don't touch Home at all and I'm one. In the past 4 years or so that I've been an MVP I've been in Home maybe 3 times and didn't like it. I know a couple of the new MVPs who don't play in Home at all. 2 of them I've known for several years now.

I know. But I feel lke it's safe to say that a very large number of MVPs (maybe even the majority?) are big into the Home communiy.

Which is great and all, but it seems like being active in Home and it's community gives you a far greater chance to become an MVP than being active in the, say, PS Allstars, MGS, or The Last of Us communities.

The reason there is such a huge number of Home specific MVPs is because Sony merged the MVP program with the HCV program, thus infusing the MVP program with a huge number of Home MVPs. The HCV program probably had double the members than the MVP program did prior to the merger.
