Can't use emoticons, or smiley's, as they are called.

I know this isn't a life or death situation, but this is a serious issue.

A emoticon is an expression to fellow posters, letting them know whether i'm happy or sad.

I've contacted a MOD about this, but it was all in vain.

Can you provide more information about the issue? What are you seeing when trying to use the emoticons? What browser are you using?

In the mean time if you would like to use emoticons you can do so via text. For example (simply remove the space):

: ) =

: ( =

or

:smiley happy: =

:smiley sad: =

Thanks for the reply. I'll tell you my situation.

When I click on INSERT EMOTICON, the box pops up, but it won't enter anything when I click on the emoticon I want to display.

I guess i'll do it your way.

That's weird havoc, sorry I didn't reply to your PM yesterday... I had a very packed day!

It doesn't work even if you type out the emoticons? Also, what browser are you using and is it on a mobile device?

Any further info can help us test out what is happening and hopefully find a fix!

I'm using the browsers Firefox and Google Crome.

I'm trying to figure out if it's an issue with the mobile version of the forum...

PC. When Lithium was first implemented I could use them.

I'll try messing with both of the browser's capabilities such as popups without jeopardizing security on this pc I have.

 Yeah Deadend is right. Remove the space and it'll work.
