Really, really annoyed with all of this. I don't like anything about the new forums. Lost everything!!!

Anyway T_F, I sent you a message that is of high importance! I had 3 issues there that do need addressing. Also if a telephone conversation would be easier let me know in your response.

Hope to hear from you soon.

I know a few things have gone & some are still being worked on, but what did you lose exactly, I'm curious?

Re: [INFO] PlayStation Community Forum Migration Begins on Saturday, June 30th

I can live with a week worth of posts missing. I mean I slowed down my posting because well isn't worth posting when well no really takes the time to respond to your posts. I blame Jive for that, thanks a bunch Jive. However I want to know what happened to my posts from 2006? It looks like they cut off a bunch of my posts. I can go back to 2008 on my posts but wandering do these servers have a 7 year cycle of storage or something?

Thanks,

If that's the reason, we were warned, in advance that PM's would not be migrated over to the new Forums, also it appears some posts from 23rd June were also not migrated over.

Re: [INFO] PlayStation Community Forum Migration Begins on Saturday, June 30th

My posts go back as far as August 2009, and I'm fairly sure I posted before that. It's no problem to me, really, but it's strange.

Yes PM's of high importance regarding an issue that is being sorted.. then all the views of my Turok thread, which was a hub for the campaign on here. 10,000 views in 2 weeks... admittedly there only views but really? They were to prove a point to certain people here... Anyway as long as T_F responds to my message I'm cool.

Also don't like the layout & the navigation around the site. Another bad move IMO.

Sorry but this is a step in the right direction. The forum has been on a sinking ship since Jive took place in 2010. Users didn't want Lithium gone. I sure helI didn't. I think if they can bring back a few features like a Post Counter on the frontpage and new themes. I think this place will be running smoothly. Now it is bringing the veterans back.

So far I can navigate a lot easier knowing I don't have to click on 5 sections to get to where I want to go. I easily scroll down and click.

Like I already said a few posts back we were warned in advance that PM's would NOT be transferred over in the migration, we all had at least a week, if not a little more to save our PM's, in fact we were even given instructions on how to do it, so i'm sorry you lost them, but you really only have yourself t blame for that.

With regards to the navgation, I'm still figuring out my best way to navigate around too, it's a learning curve for all of us, be patient, i'm sure it'll pay off in the long run.

Navigation is my major problem with it right now.  Looking for new content is ok now that I know how to "float" the different forums.  However, being able to see my posts is not good enough for looking at threads I've already posted in.  There is a lot of redundant information and it is not sorted to show new content (by others) at the top.  I'm sure it will improve, but right now I still prefer how it was.

[INFO] PlayStation Community Forum Migration Begins on Saturday, June 30th

Well, it took me a little while, but I think I can say I can now comfortably navigate these new forums, with the "Go To" button being of particular convenience.

I don't know why everyone was complaining over Jive being impossible to navigate...

Over this argument going on about no warning being given... Well, some of us got the warning through email or the threads themselves. However, as stated earlier, that pop-up message should have given you a perfectly appropriate warning, stating posts will be lost.

Unless you just clicked "OK" without actually reading it... You did that, didn't you?
