April is...... custom avatar time!!!
We love all the new avatars everyone has been creating on the forums! To celebrate the return of this awesome feature, this month is for..... doodles!
Q: What's it all about?
A: Doodle Avatar Month! A time to change your avatar into a doodle (a simple/messy drawing, sketch, etc.) that you drew yourself, by hand, doesn't really matter as long as it looks like a doodle. You know the kind you make when you’re bored in class, or when you’re on the phone to someone... You don't even need to draw amazingly or be an artist. Everyone can doodle! The point is simplicity.
Q: How do I get involved?
A: Simply create a doodle avatar, upload it, and hey presto! Make sure you keep it within the avatar image dimensions - no more that 240X240, and 150kb (we suggest .PNGs)
Here's a last little tip for ya:
Other PlayStation Communities (UK, Dutch, American, Spanish, Russian, Italian and Scandinavian) are participating in Doodle Avatar week as well.
We're running this event for a whole month however, in celebration of custom avatars returning!
At the end of their events, all the winners from each community will be posted here.

My son drew me about 1-1/2 to 2 years ago when he visited me at work with mom. My son is now 5 years and 10 month old. I helped with the "my dad" part back then of course. This little 2" x 2" drawing has been on my office wall since, and I thought it would be great Avatar for this event (or for me at least). By the way, the big eyes with not pupil is because I wear glasses.
