This week’s release of Kat ( Gravity Rush/Daze ) and Emmett Graves ( StarHawk ) is just the beginning of additional fighters coming to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

While SuperBot Entertainment’s role in the brawler has nearly come to an end, the studio teased more dlc characters which will be detailed in the coming weeks.

Sony recently ended its business relationship with the indie studio but due to “lag time for localization and testing, etc.,” SuperBot’s final work for PSASBR won’t release for several weeks.

Super stoked for March - Kat & Emmet have made the game feel new again, looking forward to seeing who's lined up next. Hopefully they will be just as unique in terms of gameplay as the current 2 additions.

Nope, they were on contract terms to create this game, Sony simply decided to part ways and let them work on other projects rather then support the game further. Santa Monica will be doing that from now onwards. SuperBot was never a first party company, they've been an independent studio from the start.

Does this mean Santa Monica will possibly be creating further DLC?

Superbot supposedly finished more characters, so it's likely that SMS will make more.

really stoked for this, Kat is amazingly fun to play. She kicked Spike right out of the rotation haha. If the next batch of characters are anywhere near as awesome as Emmett and Kat ill explode.
