heihachi level 1 special rework and and moveset priority

Hello all,

I really like this game I was like a kid in the candy store when I saw this game. All the old games I used to play like ape escape and parappa the rappa. For some reason I ended up settling on heihachi as my main. My first experience with him was great I got good fast and beat the game on all star difficulty my first day with them game. Very pleased with my purchase. I decided to test my skills with ranked matches and let me tell you the flaws started pouring in with how this character works in practice. Overall readers and devs heihachi is a great character his move set is fun and it flows well and better than any other character I have tried. But move set alone isn't the whole story with this game.

The biggest problem with him is he has nearly no priority on ANY of his moves and ANY given character... guys how can a short range melee character be a viable opponent if he doesn't take any priority. I am fine with all of his moves not taking priority except one... his down+circle - square. That charged punch should by all right take priority. given nothing else does. Second rework heihachi needs is his level one finisher. This ENTIRE game is about finishers. His leaves something to be desired. It could be fixed in one of two ways. I don't care if his level 2 and three are crap. Which they are... but having a good level one makes up for it. But he needs to either dash before he does it, or make some of his moves NOT cause people to flash so he can incorporate it into his combos.

Over all this is a great character. I would just like to see a little tweaking on him to bring him a little higher on the effective ranked play tier. I could be wrong in my evaluation of him but that's just my opionion. Thanks for reading.

His level 1 is fine imo, it even has a very easy KC of forward square.

Agreed I think he's pretty balanced including when he charges himself he gets triple the normal AP gain from Parappas boombox in such

Forward isn't a Kill Confirm , if you get hit by it it's becouse of lag.
Kinda like Kat's down-tringle -> square kick. Not a real confirm.

..you can use air-square tho.

That's not a KC. Every character can roll out of it.



In all honesty he needs a complete moveset rework. He is pretty much useless against aerial opponents and his success depends very largely upon AI.

they should also rework Nariko's level 1, she's hopeless in 1v1

Actually it is possible,again the server lags something you don't even notice it which is why you can't roll out of it. I didn't think about his problem with aerial so never mind Heihachi isn't balanced.

I see what you guys are saying but the reason why I didn't consider the kc's shown by persona. Is his lack of priority. In the fray he is useless to get that stuff off. A dash in would allow him to reasonably still get kills off his L1 in 4 man ffas. Granted I have managed to kill 3 people with it once. But even blind squirrel is right twice a day. If I managed to take the time to get that down circle charge off uninteruppted and I clash with evil coles falcon punch. Priority please.
