yreah but what im trying to say is that for games if the content is on the disc that you paid for, but the developers blocked it out so that you have to pay for it llater even though its a part of the finished game, then that is incomplete.

the only way we can tell if the dlc content of this game is on disc is if the dlc is 100kb downloads,
we don't know that yet,
so i'll say, complain about dlcs later..

ScreamKing - That's rarely the case though. Some games i.e. AC2 do it for a legitimate reason (time constraints in AC2's case). I can't even think of many other games that have done that other then the infamous SxT.

mass effect 3

uncharted 3

It's a shame that you interpret it that way. I don't believe it is incomplete, there are several things on every game disk ever released that aren't available for you to use. Now companies are deciding to open these features for use in exchange for a couple bucks. This is the way it's going to be and I can guarantee it's going to expand as we move forward. Companies need to make choices like this to profit, and I am content with that. I suggest you try and be content with it as well.

On disc dlc sucks I will agree with that, but dlc is acceptable to me when they couldn't get it in due to time constraints. Can't everyone agree with that?

assassins creed 3 - The DLC are side missions, not sequences or anything regarding the main story
mass effect 3 - The DLC are more akin to expansions as they set you out on a new adventure that has nothing to do with the campaign
uncharted 3 - All DLC is multiplayer maps, if you've got a problem with that then you're pretty much against all map pack DLC's
darksiders 2 - Once again, more like expansions
red dead redemption - Map packs & an expansion that distances itself so far from the game that they released it as a standalone title
max payne 3 - Map packs
the amazing spiderman - Mini challenges, you wouldn't play them even if they were added lol
spiderman shattered dimensions - Costumes ?
batman arkham city - A continuation of the story, this was developed after the game was made.
mortal kombat - Additional characters, you're not forced to buy them, their optional
resident evil 6 - Map packs
dragons dogma - Additional side quests

None of these were on disc (except for Dragons Dogma), and were all really poor examples. This is why I assumed you feel entitled to all DLC because these had nothing to do with the point you raised after, these are infact the polar opposite.

It's cheap and stingy, but the company of these characters might have a say in it too.
