Either it is done or it is just down right now. Whenever you start the game it gives you a message telling you the servers may go down from time to time for maintenance.

They can update as much as the need to depending on if they want to tweak a few more things.

I'm just throwing out another possibility. Either the beta is done or it is just down for maintenance. Hopefully it is just down but I guess the beta has to end eventually.
