This would be a really good idea. Both Sony and Atlus win if they put Yu in the game. Persona is really popular in Japan so this gives the game japan support. This will also help raise sells of the persona games like The Golden which is coming out around the time Allstars is. Golden is a vita exclusive so that means more people buying vitas. It's nothing but a win situation. That is why I say Yu should be in the game.

Yeah, Persona's been great to Playstation. And the franchise spans all the consoles, with Persona's roots beginning back in the PS1 era and Persona 5 soon coming to PS3. Persona 3 Portable was great on the PSP and PS2, and P4 Golden is helping the Vita a lot.
Plus, Yu would be a really unique character with a moveset that uses his Persona, or perhaps his Persona could always be out in battle with him. And the main character from Persona 3 can be an alternate costume.. I'd love to see it happen.

Yup I've been asking for him for a REAL long time. Out of most 3rd parties I always believed 100% he was one of the most deserving for many reasons. I would love either Minato Arisato from Persona 3 or Yu Narukami. Both are awesome and 10x deserving then most I can think of I saw.
So nice suggestion and nice post.

While I'm not disagreeing that a Persona rep would be awesome, I can't see it happening unless it's part of a DLC pack. As I've mentioned before, Persona is a very niche series with a tiny (although loyal) fanbase in comparison to the others IP that have reps in the game. From a marketing standpoint, it would be very smart because I imagine it would also help push sales of P4 Arena, which has already released and has been recieving very favorable reviews.
I think Persona's best bet is to look for a stage tie-in. There is a lot that could be done with the locations in P3/4. If it already hadn't been done with inFAMOUS, I'd suggest a moving stage modeled after Tartarus from P3.
