Well it is anyway the only game which has a similar target. Though I don't see Smash Bros. and Battle Royale as a threat to each other. I mean who has a PS3 will buy PSABR, who has a Wii U will buy Smash Bros., who has both will buy both.

I don't really think that commercially, these games will harm each other.

When I compare the two, it has nothing to do with one outdoing the other in a definitive way - PSABR has clearly taken inspiration from SSB, but it's distinguished itself enough to call it it's own game. I love both series, and I'd be more then happy to see the next SSB entry to outdo this game, if not just to give me a reason to go and play the Wii U my friends pre-ordered, then to give the next entry of the PSABR possible series a good kick in the nuts to ensure its improvement. A little healthy competition is always a good thing, it's when the debate turns into illogical fanboy wars that things just go dark.

I sometimes play SSBB. BTW, if SSB4 released somewhere in 2013 (perhaps summer), than PSABR will be toast. who knows?

I still play Brawl to this day and I don't see All Stars replacing it anytime soon

I would have to say for a fact that Brawl wins in quanitity but PSASBR might win in quality .
