Activision had always been the publisher for Crash.
1) Why are people doubting his arrival?
2) Why wouldn't they let Crash in?! It would help Activision greatly as well. It's not a 'Win-Lose' deal, it's a 'Win-Win'.
I don't think people really understand a lot of how 'asking for a character' from a company really works...
But who knows? Maybe I'm just not all that informative of Crash anymore. (I only played his psx games - And still do to this day.)
No... They weren't always the publishers...
Activision has only been publishing Crash since 2008.. You must not know the good Crash if all you know is Activision Crash.
|Sony Computer Entertainment (1996-2000)|
Universal Interactive Studios (1996-2003)
Konami (2001-2006) (Japan)
Vivendi Universal Games (2003-2004)
Sierra Entertainment (2005-2008)
Universal is the one that's always owned Crash. Naughty Dog developed the first and best games, but Universal has always owned the rights.
KingDustero, Naughty Dog owned the rights, they created and thought up the games. Activision had always had the publishing rights though. Activision had the publishing rights since the first ps1 game.
Lol no, do a simple Google search or better yet look at the post below yours. Activision has only had the rights since 2008. Naughty Dog has never owned the IP rights to Crash.
Kudos to you Narwhal for that nice box there.
And Naughty Dog created the first Crash game, I know that for a fact o,o
I'm thinking about buying the PS2 game, Twinsanity. People suggested it. I wonder how different it really is from the Naughty Dog ones!
Anyway, Back on-topic, I do think he has a shot of being in this game
No prob. I've always been a huge Crash and Universal fan xD Personally, I've never really enjoyed anything after the PSX for Crash, including Crash Bash. I do have hopes on Crash. I always say not having him would be like not having Mario in SSB.
I loved the Crash games for the PSX; I'm currently playing Crash 2 as we speak and I'm about to switch the disk to Crash 3
And that's true!! I have high hopes for his inclusion!
Either Sony or Universal Studios originally had the IP rights to Crash. When ND moved on though just Universal had the rights to it. They then sold it to Konami. It kepted getting sold over and over again until in 2008 Activision got it. Activision and Sony don't have a very good relationship, thus it is very unlikely they will give Sony the ok to use a character from an IP that they own.
So anyone who thinks logically has pretty much accepted that Crash and Spyro will not be in All Stars due to Activision owning their respective IPs.
Again why so insistent your acting like people are stupid for wanting them in the game.
