I will say that if they do have to add Crash/Spyro as DLC, I see them adding some kind of free DLC as a make-good. SuperBot have showed that they're in it for the fans, so I can't see them just doing that without giving something as an apology.

If Crash/Spyro are on DLC due to Activision holding up, then they should make some kind of announcement about this before the game is released.

You are asking they do a Day 1 DLC thing, then gamers will scream "RUINED!"

If they in the game, they'll be saved for last or be announced sometime after release.

No and I honestly don't see why day 1 DLC is such a big problem. I just said they should make an announcement for future DLC characters.

I don't mind having DLC I do want the game to be released at some point, so they can't put everything on it. 

Besides having legit different characters and making them all balance is a really hard thing to do. They aren't slacking at all in that department. I'd happily pay for DLC if I want the character.

I wouldn't put it past Activision to go the DLC route. They would make much more money off DLC then if Crash or Spyro were in the base game.
