Why did YOU buy PSASBR?

[ Edited ]

To be honest, I bought it because I loved playing SSBB. I played that for hours over at my friend's house. We made every saturday night party night with SSBB, four controllers and two boxes of pizza.

Also, when I heard Raiden was in it. I went APE ****! Raiden has been my main since day one.

Because I saw that some of my all-time favorite characters (Kratos, Cole, Nathan Drake) were being featured in a Smash-type video game. I told my roommate and other friends about it and they too got excited. Pre-ordered and everything

It looked like a mix of Smash and Marvel; AKA a competitive Brawler. Oh how far we have fallen since that magical time...

"An SSB-style game with Nathan Drake, Cole MacGrath, and-- wait, it even has PaRappa?  INSTA-BUY."

^ Pretty much that.  And I've never looked back. Smiley Very Happy

I actually wasn't planning on getting this game. I wasn't crazy about the roster, and I was afraid of just getting smacked down online.

I ended up getting it for Christmas, and I've played it nearly everyday since. Although the belt system is a little buggy sometimes, I think it works very well for the most part, and creates a challenge that I can beat.

If I want to be a little less competitive, quick-match works well, and overall I have a lot of fun.

Just need to get past some of the extremely frustrating moments Smiley Very Happy

I bought it due the the in deoth history of the most iconic characters in the Playstation history, the awesome fighting style, and because I didn't know what else to buy at the time.  Smiley Tongue

But I still love this game no matter what. Kingdom Hearts was my favorite game on the PS2. All Stars is my favorite game on the PS3...... if only they can mix.  Smiley Very Happy
