Re: Why did PSABR "Fail"?

Personally, I blame marketing. I've already seen at least 10 Ascension commercials and it's not even March. I only seen maybe 2 PASBR commercials and this was post release.

If this game had a lot more exposure it would've helped significantly.

Eh Sony could've done more to make the roster bigger. They could've tried to get more odd ball characters like big daddy.

this game is garbage in every way.

Omar - "what are you guys doing? Why did you get rid of crash!"
Game devs - "we wanted to put in evil Cole so we had to get rid of everyone else the fans wanted"
Omar- "Oh nice, good idea. I didn't think of that"

Weak promotion, big companies having no faith in it and weak roster.....seems about right.

Re: Why did PSABR "Fail"?

I find it strange they they don't bother hammering out the legal licensing stuff before they start such big expensive projects.

Sony - "Superbot, we brought you all together to create a Sony IP fighting game, have at it."

Superbot - "Ok great, so what charaters do you want us to put in it?"

Sony - "We don't know yet, but we're sure everything will work out splendidly with no fuss from any license holders what so ever, so just start and we'll let you know in a year or 2."

...This kind of mumbo jumbo happens alot with games, don't know if I'll ever really understand it...
