Why couldnt Cole have a similar play style to Zelda and Sheik?

To me, having two coles is a waste of a roster space. Toro has three different play styles while Cole has two character spots. This does not make sense.

Why does SSBB have many clone charcters and no Little Mac?

good cole and evil cole is different. i personnaly dislike goodcole . evil much better

Think about it, Coles taunt could have been removed and in order to change from "good" to "evil" cole then you could have simply just pressed the L2 button and blam there you have it! Yes I am aware that wanted to have 2 seperate Coles in but that is just plain stupidity.

i actually hadn't thought of that before.  toro has 3 stances.  why can't cole have 2?

Its not a waste of space. They still had to make two character models and movesets. The same amount of work was done. Nothing was hindered or affected in any way that wouldn't have been hindered or affected otherwise. In fact, programming him as the thread suggests would actually take slightly more time because yout have to make sure that models don't overlap along with moves, textures and other things. More time, even if only slightly more time would have been used on QA most likely because there's an increased chance for bugs and mixups in the system.

This thread does not make sense

Well, we could've gone the Japan route and make the three different stances entirely different characters.

That would've been even worse than two Cole's.

To contradict your statement, SuperBot could have done this because they delayed the game for an extra month.
