If it was the OG Dante nobody would complain. Wasnt Devil May Cry 1-3 exclusive on Playstation? I say Dante deserves to be in this game for sure. Some people just dont like his new look.

I never got to play DMC 1-4, so either interpretation is fine with me.  The core gameplay still looks the same between both Dantes, so it's all good.

On another note, I may as well ask:  why is everyone calling the new Dante "Dino"?   I have no idea what it means and I'm really curious.

I'm okay with the new Dante, but have you seen the new Vergil? I mean, W T F. He turned out to be some overdramatic spoiled brat based on what I saw in the trailer, and that just ruin my taste for the new DMC. I prefer the old one with better story and better style.

It's a way to say that he is not the "real" Dante.

See I completely agree..I just played the DMC collection (For the first time) and I did not like the story very much..the gameplay was decent for it's time period..but the new DMC and "New" Dante looks amazing it's the reason I got the HD collection.

 Sidenote: I didn't really like how the old Dante looked.
