Re: Why 20 characters is unreasonable

Sep 29, 2012
Chaos, I'm going with the flow for the time being. I don't necessarily believe 20 is the final amount, because it's been specified explicitly three times now that it's the final "LAUNCH" amount. That has at least two meanings. Anyway, I digress. My comments about the 20 roster are under the assumption that it is 20, but it does not mean I support that 20 max thought just yet.

Mortal kombat 28 disc 4 DLC 32 total
SFIV - 25 on disc
Tekken - over 40( maybe a couple of clones but for most part different)
SSB - 35 characters ( with a few clones)
20 is a LOW number for a fighting game trust me, especially when superbot has the greatest franchises to choose from -_-

True but I honestly don't think we're getting much of either here.

I find that impossible to do so, good sir. But please, do keep rampaging about like child. You're only proving my point further every day. With every sentence. In every word. Straight to the letter.

I'll also add Virtua Fighter 5 had 17 characters in it. Why don't we talk about this game like street fighter 4 and Mortal kombat because the roster isn't appealing

Still didn't have my request dealt with by these little whiners who believe that the final count is 20.Show me already that it was confirmed,if you can't,then I suggest you should put a sock in it instead of whining about something that isn't final. This is what entitlement does to the weak minded huh?

Street Fighter IV has had like...50 installments. Mortal Kombat is on its 9th game and is being funded by Warner Bros. Tekken has like 8 installments now. Brawl has at least 5 clones and is friggin' Nintendo, they get away with anything.

As I put in a previous statement; This is SuperBot's first game. Yeah, to some of you this is a disappointment, but I guess you never played Street Fighter II with 8 characters, Mortal Kombat 1 with 7, and SSB1 with 12.

Your an idiot.

This is a starting fighting game. Its not going to have tons of characters. Blazblue only had 12 fighters.

How many of those are starting from scratch?

20 fully unique characters, multiple game modes not present in SSB, Challenges, some form of story mode, Character Trials, at least decent online play.  I'd say we have Quality locked down.
