Never understimate the power of a HORRID user interface. Every single person that has played this game has thought/said: "Wow, these menus are ugly. Amateur game?"
Ah, how I love hyperbole in the afternoon. Yum.
On-topic: I don't doubt that some of SuperBot has already merged into SSM. Remember that SuperBot was greatly assisted by SSM in every way, and that the studio was likely just there to do the grunt work as fighting game fans since Sony didn't feel like hiring X fighting game experts to get it done in-house. I'm not too worried about PSAS's future, since this really hints at a more commercial sequel above all else. (Think about it, SSB64 started with a small team and then Melee got the full budget title treatment under HAL.) I do look forward to SuperBot's future projects.
Good. Sony needed to cut ties. Severely unbalanced and every patch they made after 1.01 added some sort of issue. Sony probably realized that SuperBot was nothing more than a third rate developer and decided to move everything over to inhouse development. This way they can fix the online issues and if they ever do release another Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, fix all the balancing issues by making changes in the gameplay.
this is very great news. Bigger Company, Bigger budget = more DLC and hopefully a new interface.
Kudos to Superbot for making the foundation, a solid one at that.
I agree with you on all of that.
But besides a few issues I honestly don't mind the interface. Could it be better, yes. But Im not on the menu for to long
