This could be an effective way to make the lvl1's more dynamic, give characters with less reach some help, and also prevent players who spend a lot of time in the air.
I am not entirely sure how it would work though so perhaps you hold the super button and let go of it to perform a super. Using the right analog (throw) in conjunction with holding the super button can be where you aim (without any really indicator, its something you have to learn and get used to)to unleash the super.
In this sense, throwing becomes impossible for those entering the moment to do a super but of course there would need to be a cancel button.
Sorry, this sounds more complex than it perhaps should be.
How open would you be to lvl 1 supers being directionally aimable by players?
The legnth a super travels is greatly decreased if an angle is used to employ a super,
Alright fair enough, what if the ability to choose direction also came with drawback meaning that supers dont go nearly as far.
For instance, Kratos wont leap but rather just attack standing still... Sly's hippo merely does a standard jump distance then falls to the ground.
But seriously it would kind of stop the whole saving for a level 2 or 3 n not to mention half of them wouldn't work in animation
