IIRC, there was one character that was revealed but not playable at the show he was shown off at. I'm probably wrong, but I remember it vaguely that people complained about something like that.
They don't necessarily have to reveal AT TGS as long as they reveal DURING TGS, though. They may reveal online during daytime hours over here because, well, the fans are almost entirely in the West.

Ok, thats kind of a stupid comment. No offense. But if your not going to buy a game just because the demo you played didnt have a newly announced character, then that makes you stubborn and selfish.
