Don't let the "dissapointing" UK sales fool you. They only counted 1 DAYS worth of sales and it still made it in the top 40.

P.S this game hasn't been released in Japan yet and I am sure a lot of people will buy it because of Toro.

People already knew that. It was the only sales we had so far till later on Sony confirmed they said the sales were well. So cool that U.S. did well.

Also, not just Toro. As there is also Heihachi, PaRappa the Rapper (despite his games old, he'll be noticed by them) & Spike (whose look is from a Japan game & all his games were on Japan with U.S. the least to receive his games).

of course they're going to say that man... it's a PR stunt.  They said they're "happy with the sales."  If it was doing as well as they had hoped they would have came out with a rough estimate or at least said a more positive line.

No publisher is going to come out and say "well our game is selling like a bag of **bleep** but you should still buy it"

I think seeing as so many well waited sequels have recently come out (CoD, Halo, Assassins Creed, etc...), that it's done alright in terms of sales. I think sales will boost when each new character is added as DLC. I mean, I've heard a few people buying the game for a single character (even Kat and Emmett which are coming out later).

Too soon to tell whether its looking up or down - wait until the numbers are definitive (this is just 4 days of sales in US).

Well, 100k sales is terrible.  None of us know of the production values of the game so it's hard to tell if they actually made money from it yet..

The game'd have to be like $5 to make for it to be a profit.

It aint "good" until it reaches atleast 1.5 million, but it looks like its on the right track.

thats what this game needs to a legit success,
