Trials

17 replies 245 views Edited Nov 20, 2012

I just want to get on this. I notice that people have not almost ever talked about trials, just arcade, versus, and online. From what I have seen from a stream, trials definely looks interesting. There seems to be a numerous amount of trials for each character, where you get to pick different difficulties. I saw some Jak trials, and I have to say, it seems Superbot pust the most work in trials than anything else (Well except characters in general). There aren't just character trials, but general ones as well. Just thought this should be said before the game comes out, man I can't believe it comes out tomorrow.

I HATE trials. They are so boring...

I hope not. I personally think they should be like Smash Bros's trials system. It was way better and more fun than Street Fighter's "Do this extremely long combo" trial system.

I probably posted a joke here. If you get offended, I'm sorry in advance. I'm not here to start fights.

I never focus on trials but they turn out to be fun little distractions. I know I'll be playing the trials while waiting in lobbies or in long lines.

I hope the trials will teach you how to properly combo into your special ( when available) and things like that.

Well this is what I remember from the trials

Spoiler
Jak's first trial was to do the level 1 multiple times and kill people before time runs out, same with level 2 and three but he required multiple kills for those to count. Then I remember certain trials called combos and mass inverter, but this was from a very long list of trials and what I said is most likely 5% of how many trials Jak has.

Superbot was right. It seems you might actually spend a lot of time with these trials. Not all trials are unlocked at first bare in mind.

When it comes down to Jak, I get anything done. There isnt nothing Jak related I can't do.
