Not to call anyone out, but I JUST fought that guy and I came to this topic to talk about that very move, and it turns out you guys are dealing with the same thing.

It was a FFA Stock match and he basically used the corner infinite to kill everyone.  He took all of my lives first and I couldn't get out of the combo-- rolling didn't work at all, but I'll have to try holding block next time.

On another note, there's another glitch he abused that involves floating infinitely in the air using Up+Triangle (Oni) and then Neutral Circle.  When it was down to him and a Nariko player, the Nariko managed to pull off a Level 3, but he did the floating glitch and essentially made her entire Level 3 miss.

This stuff needs to be fixed ASAP. :/

how about we all message and bug this guy at the same time XD

I've seen someone on youtube do these tactics, and he has videos of 'em. He mains Toro, mostly dive-kicks & headbutt loops or dive-kick into lvl 1, and uses the sleep and (oni toro) Up triangle to stay suspended in the air during lvl 3 supers.

There is no inescapable infinite unless lag is the reason for this. Outside of lag, this would be completely escapable and the only thing I can think of is lag is causing blocking to not register in time.

Yeah, it did feel like there should've been some way to escape the combo and I just wasn't doing it right.  If I ever face a Toro like that again, I'll try holding block and see what that does.

Drake's cr@p is infinite, Raiden's grab is infinite
this game is so broken it's stupid

2v2 vs a Drake and Raiden black belt team is a death wish
you'll lose 19 out of 20 times

And shadow I think this is an infinite as the only way to get out of it is if toro messes up the timing of his move. I hate how the corners now are just death traps for certain characters.

Ummmm no to both actually. Drake's crap is not infinite regardless of whether or not you lag. Just hold down and block and you will get out.

Raiden's you can jump out of, but sometimes due to lag it becomes an infinite since your input won't register in time.

The toro thing can only possibly be an infinite due to lag. Even then though, I don't see how blocking wouldn't work.
