And JESUS was this trial maddening.
Particularily the level 1 mastery... On the Invasion level with unlimited lv1 super, you need to kill a total of 9 people with only multi-kills counting.
Parappa's level 1 is already hard enough to get one kill with, it became sort of a game of luck. It all depended on if enemies would sometime both be close enough to one another for a multi-kill (which, with Parappa's lv1 range, is very VERY close).
Overall, i felt his trials were becoming a game of luck in some parts because of just how greatly they can limit you.
Any similar experiences?
Trials suck. They're all the same, 90% of them are relatively easy, and the remain 10% are just plain impossible and frustrating.
They don't unlock anything and they're boring, without them the game would be the same, maybe better.
Trials are good if you wanna really understand a characters mechanics
The combo training is better, trials are training lessons in disguise of... "trials".
There should've at least been some kind of reward of trophy for doing them with all characters, but there isn't. There's NO reason to use those "100s of hours" that Seth was talking about.
A little boring, but I'll still do a bunch of them, just to learn my characters better
Thank God there is no reward at all, so I can simply skip them and actually trying to have fun with this game. Doing the arcade mode is already enough as a bore...
