Like I said, it was pretty much a 'lets sell the Vita in Japan' pitch - they started off with a price cut, showed off a tonne of JRPGs (2 that emphasised monster hunting, likely to find a replacement for the beloved Monster Hunter series and lastly the Final Fantasy remake), ending it with a few games releasing within the next month or two. It didnt seem like it was intended to be huge news, especially considering it was pre-recorded.
dammit, i was honestly expecting a new actual MH game,
dammit Capcom! Why!?!
Theres a rumour that MH4 was delayed to be ported to the Vita according to some Japanese Nintendo magazine, but that's probably fake lol, real shame though.
honestly though dude, no matter how expensive the Vita is,
MH is a system seller for me,
if MH is ever announced for the Vita, i'm buying it....
The numbers don't lie, that and Metal Gear would help Vita sales soar. Lets just wait and see what they have in store, I still have faith that there are big things to come for the handheld.
the way i can think of that would benefit both Capcom and Sony is if Capcom made an entirely different MH game for the Vita, different than the one for the 3DS (and the WiiU?) so people who are huge fans, and already have MH for the 3DS, would buy the Vita to play the other MH game as well....
Instead of a ported library I would rather Square-Enix make new games for the Vita. That way they can make the games with the Vita in mind.
Good luck with that Noc; SE is more interested in making new games for iOS where the real money is at.
