The idea behind Instant kill Level 3 Supers

In case you're wondering what that means: Parappa's level 3 super is a cinematic followed by a  guaranteed 3 kills (in a 4 player match) but not any more. Whereas with someone like Kratos or Radec's level 3, you can get anywhere from 0 kills to how-many-ever you can pull off based on your skill.

 

What is the SuperBot's idea or reasoning behind giving characters like this such a "non-interactive" super?

 

Why not have everyone's level 3 super that is skill based and not this way? Wouldn't it be more "balanced" or does it make the game more boring? What kind of strategy does this bring into the picture?

 

Parappa has a good level 2, so why would anyone wait for level 3 when they can get 3 or more kills with level 2?

Its a risk versus reward balance.

And having both allows for variation instead of much of the same.

Because his level 2 is not garaunteed. Maybe you think it's awesome against noobs, but it would be totally useless against better players.

Think of some of the stages. I'm sure some stages provide disadvantages on certain Supers. Wait a couple of months after the game's release and see if you still think this an issue.

I guess the idea is that, in theory, a character like Parappa builds meter faster than characters like Sly or Radec with his 140-155 AP generating combos. It doesn't really work because you have a character like Kratos that can build meter just as fast as Parappa and he still gets a level 3 super that can score more than 1 kill per player.

I'm explaining the point of parappas level 2.
Someone like sly for example has an awesome level 1.

I don't think it's an issue, was just wondering how this would affect the gameplay and character choices.

It's certainly an interesting take, that some characters have such supers.

The way I see it... If your playing as Parappa don't EVER use A lvl 3. It's just not worth it at all...
