Hello fellow All-Stars fans. As we know, this game is no longer being supported, and its currently unknown if a sequel is even in the question at this point. The game didn't sell well so it wasn't profitable enough to have more DLC. We know Santa Monica are dedicated to maintaining online support, but that's about it.

However in the words of a rapping paper-flat dog "you gotta believe!" Forum member we need to start focusing on a campaign for a sequel. Unlike the previous campaign where it's main focus was Twitter, this campaign is going to be about spreading it in anyway possible. A few examples could be writing well written letters to them, make videos on YouTube to spread the campaign, and telling your friends and family members who are also fans of PlayStation All-Stars so they can spread it. Be creative as you want to be, as long as you keep spreading the message.

If your writting a letter, tell them about what you want in the sequel, such as improved presentation, give out ideas on advertising, and doing something like the Megaman Legends 3 devroom (probably not the best example, but you get the point). Maybe you could ask them to do kickstarters for DLC and 3rd party characters (similar to what SkullGirls is doing). If you have an idea to help them convince to do a sequel in any way, let them know.

This thread will continue to be updated when more and more ideas are spread, and if Sony responds to any of us. I wish us all good luck. Now get out there, and show your love for a sequel! Edit version: seganintendoubi

If Sony is yet to make a sequel after so many years... When do we ask for a sequel?

 "NOW!"

Words of Encouragement

This thread is improtant for the community. So let's keep discussing the matter before it's to late. The community had banded together numerous of times to achieve a specific goal. So whether or not that goal was accomplish, the most improtant thing was we came together as a community. And that my friends is something to be proud of!

Never sell the community short for we had accomplish plenty. A prime example would be the balance patch update (Regardles if you like it or not). Also to add, I'm not sure if anyone realize Sony had scrapped most of it's forums during the update for thier website, but yet this community still remains and stands next to some of the hugest communities of AAA titles. That's itself is a testament

Join the Fight!

What year do we start asking for a sequel? We shouldn't wait at all just start asking now.

Lmao I agree, which I see a few people doing already, but I'm thinking more of a communitty campaign. To give Sony the reinsurance that a sequel can be beneficial to both parties.

For example, if we can start a solid communtication between the community and the Developers + Sony then we can address some of the issue from the previous game to start moving foward by leaving feedback to a potential sequel.

The whole thing is, we need the full cooperation of the community in order for this to have any type of chance. So that means if only three people are only willing to help, then you might as well forget about it. Which leads me to my next thing, we as a community must come together as one and decide on a specific date to when we should pursue a campaign, project, or what ever you want to call it... to make awareness that fans want a sequel. So which ever date make the most sense we'll take it from there...

If the community means anything to you, wouldn't you at least  devote time to discuss the matter among your fellow peers, whether you agree or not ?

I'll leave that up to you!

Hell yea guys! I'm all in on trying to figure a perfect time to start annoying  the **bleep** out of Sony to get a sequel. barely  have **bleep** to play on the Ps4, but a PSAS2 for the Ps4 I would enjoy deeply. I think we should wait maybe after Smash Bros. for two reasons:

1) Competing with an existing franchise that's bigger then you in every aspect is a No No! It would cause a huge backlash among Nintendo fans & Non Nintendo fans! The best thing to do is avoid direct competition with SSB all together, definitely  since Allstars is yet an establish franchise.

2) Wait a while until SSB blows over and then just simply piggy back off of SSB success. It seems to work out for other business, especially in the entertainment business.

So taken my reasons into factor, I'll say start developing it around late this year or early '15 after Sony get situated with the Ps4 release and upcoming AAA title, and have it finish by late 2016 or early 2017. Any thoughts???

Next year is a good time I believe and like killer said going up against SSB is a horrible idea the backlash would be worse than before literally had a friend in 2014 call this gane trash and a SSB clone and guess what, HE HASN'T EVEN PLAYED. So planning around SSB would be a big thing for Sony.

I think this game is already at it's peek, far as making more money.

Ooooooooooh I got it, how about if we start throwing the idea to SSM & Sony when Playstation Allstars turns 2 years old during it's 2nd anniversary???  Which is Nov. of this year. I believe you can't go wrong with that.

I agree with Marcus. This game is a year and a half old now, which isn't that old. This community itself has been stated to be one of the most active. LEt Sony/Playstation know that there is still interest in the IP.
