I will buy the game, but people like us will only get this game so far. If this game is ever gonna sell over 100000 then sony or superbot needs to step in and prove the media wrong, otherwise everyone is gonna believe the media and not buy the game. Its that simple. Also, 20 characters is not good enough in this day and age

but "its a blueray game" as everybody says, so it instantly should have more than a wii gmae (smash bros brawl) thats everybodys logic lol. i honestly think its fine, they have said theres TONS of content in the game, so that cant be that bad. Just gotta be patient and wait :/

The difference is that the SSB devs have been working on smash bros for over 10 years, they have made assets, a fanbase, have increased development size, and have had years to build on  franchise.

 

PSASBR is a new IP by a new developer who is making all new assets, and all new everything from the ground up. 

 

It's just a fact, the disc size has nothing to do with it.

Most sites I've seen have been saying positive things about this game, especially IGN. There has been more playstation articles on the site than anything else for a while

That is not true at all. 

 

Look at one of the newest Fighting game IPs this generation; Blazblue.

It only had 12 characters and it's made a huge franchise out of itself with many sequels. 

This instantly disproves that 20 isn't good enoguh these days.

 

And people will see their favortire characters like Sly, or Kratos, or Ratchet in this game and that for most of them will be incentive enough to buy it. Esspecially if they hear it's anything like smash bros. And as more people buy it and try it, it'll gain more and more popularity.

 

Only few people will not buy the game beacuse there are only 20 Characters in the game.

This is the kind of backlash a game gets if it doesn't make steady reveals. The marketing hasn't been great for this game which is a shame because of how good it looks. By the way I still seriously doubt this is true, why all the 'stay tuned' remarks about Crash? It doesn't make sense from Omar's point of view to do that. Stay positive and ignore the articles you are reading.
