Story mode questions

9 replies 327 views Edited Nov 9, 2012
Is this story supposed to be like mk9? Where it's cutscenes between battles and you work through as each character? If so, will anyone be able to fight polygon man? Like with tabuu in brawl? Or not like shao Kahn in mk9 where you need to play as raiden?

No it's like Street Fighter were you choose one character, fight your rival and then fight the boss. Earning you an ending cutscene.

It will be closer to SSBB than MK 2011.

it's not like ssbb at all actually, except for the cutscenes. SSBBs story was mostly about small lots of small enemies and platforming. maybe more similar to classic mode, but with a rival and stuff

I meant the Arcade mode in SSBB, not SubSpace.

But even then it's more like Street Fighter 4's arcade, you begin with a prologue cutscene, go through a series of fights, eventually have a scene with your character's rival, immediately after you fight the final boss and get a character ending.

It's almost identical to Street Fighter 4. Cutscene, Batle, Battle, Battle, Battle, Battle, Battle, Rival Cutscene, Rival Fight, Final Boss, Ending Cutscene.

I was using his comparison. It is closer to SF.
