I think a few of the people who commented on this thread misread what I put.

comes down to quanaty over quality

smash has a half unblalanced/clone roster

and if you were to remove the clones you have 21 original charicters...

Ps al stars in all technicalaty has 27 charicters... but superbot didint pad the roster and make , keselr ,deimos, slys ansestors , the outcast , the helghast troop  "original" charicters.. how many "links" are there in brawl....

And here we are. I'm not even going to correct the incredible amount of **bleep** you put in here. I'm just hoping that people who never played Smash Bros. like you aren't going to take this crap as actual facts.

yea unlike the average smash fan i can see that swapping out 1/4 of the move set is a clone character so fine there's what Eight real clone characters and a hand full more of "semi clones" not to mention the play styles for most characters is teh same wit ha hand full of exceptions.. , iv played sash bros mele and loved it * for what it was ,a luck based fighting game * but brawl sucked **bleep**

Nah it's all wrong, I don't even know where to start. I guess I'll just let it slide.

Now of days people are blood thirsty for more than 20+ characters in a fighting game.

I will say the character amount doesn't matter anymore cause of the amount of other content

With some simple math:

There are 8855 possible 4-player match ups with a 20 character roster.

There are 210 possible 2-player match ups with a 20 character roster.

22 characters gives us:

12650 4-player match ups

253 2-player match ups

I don't know about you guys, but that is more than enough variety for me.
