If we think of franchises like Final Fantasy, they will probably choose characters that coul probably represent the whole franchise.
For the female characters, I would like to see:
Alice from the American McGee's Alice series;
Aya Brea from the Parasite Eve series;
(If there will ever be a second character from the same series which will never happen but wathever) Aqua from the Kingdom Hearts series;
Mmm... Fiona from Haunting Ground doesn't fit this kind of game right? LOL
Sera from SMT (Shin Megami Tensei) Digital Devil Saga, Naoto Shirogane from SMT Persona 4, Maki Sonomura or Yukino Mayuzumi from SMT Persona 1, Iris from Atelier Iris, Yuna (FF X, X-2), Rinoa (FF VIII), Yuffie (FF VII), Terra (FF VI), or a Moogle, aya from parasite eve, lara croft from tomb raider. if they want a princess peach like character in this game they could just use the princess from brave fencer musashi, coco from crash bandicoot. I have a much larger list but includes a lot of males as well. I wish they would remember all the awesome games they made for playstation one and two since there are many characters that deserve to be in there (like tomba) but more than likely not be in there. OH GOD, the thought struck in my head but playstation is known for its almost completely exclusive BRATZ and Barbie games...... OH GOD!!! on another note final fantasy VI personally is what SHOULD represent the FF franchise since it was there that they began to push the box. if any of you guys remember six is the first time there was a character in a game that tried to commit suicide on screen, EVER. so just saying...
I'd rather have Keats over Ellen. Her play-style would be nearly identical to Fat Princess. At least Keats gets in close to use his Folks. Transcension could be his Level 3.
I'd rather have:
Jeanne d'Arc from the game of the same name
Jennifer Tate from Primal, assisted by Scree
Maiden in Black
Monica from Dark Cloud 2 (because Max uses guns and Toan is a silent protegonist)
