So Japan finally got PSAS

OK Some believe that the addition of Japanese players can breath some new life into our little game. Now the assumed 1000 or so Japanese players that will buy this game could make some kind of difference in tech and strategy.

Will they show us how to play our game? Do we even share the same servers? Will Japan even like PSAS? Sound off.

Patch 1.10 - The "NUFF" Patch (Nerf +Buff) in the attempt to balance and make characters eNUFF for FFA and 2V2.
Didn't make this game perfect but it's a few step in the right direction. IMO

Re: So Japan finally got PSAS

I played with a player from Japan yesterday. It was FFA Stock and went down to just me and him. I edged him out for the win - pretty good nonetheless for a player just starting out.

I thought online was region locked.

His player card said he was from Japan, and the message he sent me certainly wasn't in English lol.

Was the match laggy at all, I know this is why they region lock online so that it won't be as laggy to the people.

Hmm, it was pretty smooth - maybe it was just a guy playing on a Japaneese account.

Maybe he moved here from Japan and needed to wait to import a copy from his country to play on his Japanese PS3.

As a UK player who has successfully played US copies of games on his PS3, I doubt this is an issue :smileytongue:

Re: So Japan finally got PSAS

[ Edited ]

Since releasing in Japan I have only played Japanese players.

So far they seem to prefer Dante, and are typically good at comboing with him. Some like using Sly, others Drake. Raiden is not really used that much. Fought a pretty decent Toro player.

But it has been pretty much a variety of character I have played.

But I live in Japan so its easy for me to get games and thank goodness, used to spend like a couple minutes sometimes waiting for matches.. not its like seconds.

EDIT

There was a really good Radec player I fought. Genuinely knew how to play the stay away game, I found it difficult to control his movements so I could keep him in check.
