As long as the game profited, sales are fine.
VGchartz doesn't count digital sales.
Well, .34 million is 340,000, times 60 is is a ton of cash, the devs see only half that cash if their lucky, but it's still a lot, still too hard to say if it's been profitable, but I assume it has.
Then again it has only been a couple months, in a year or two we'll see the "grand total" and it only needs about 3 times as much as it has now to meet with some other popular fighter sales. So who knows, after digital sales/Vita it may be close to that mark already, and thus doing fine. It's hard to lock down all the circumstances, all we know for sure is that Sony says says are 'on the mark' and we have to assuem that's a good thing.
I mean , its "the Playstation game 2012" , it seriously should have sold somewhat better.
Smash Bros. Brawl sold like , I don't know , 1 million or so the first 2 weeks in japan.. lol
(not trying to compare this game to Smash , just saying this becouse of them both being console exclusive Brawlers)
A big factor is probably the roster. I mean , I like the roster we have , but come on guys , we all expected certain characters to be in.
I know 2 friends of mine who would have bought the game if it had Crash..
(btw , **bleep** Activision , I hate these **bleep**ers)
it might very well be that SuperBot was on-contract to do 2 games (maybe even 3) with Sony.
Even if that were true, that might not mean much. Eat Sleep Play was supposed to have a 3-game deal with Sony, and look how that turned out...
