beat out smash, uhh no because they are far to different to try and compete with each other in some regards. I love both games and to be honest I have spent more time on this game this last week then I have ever have with any of the three smash games when they released. this game feels more excillerating compared to smash where you know that the other players will just guard the edge while on all-stars every super is somewhat unpredictable

They are very different I agree. But Smash was way more polished and had more features. I feel like alot more effort went into Brawl.

Well when you have 450 people working on the third game in a series compared to 50 people working from scratch, yeah, it's going to seem that way.

People who seriously believed this would be "better" than Brawl were out of their minds.  I'll maintain that Battle Royale certainly one-ups the Smash series in a few facets (online play, balancing, etc.), which really is a good thing for the latter, because it forces them to adapt and compete, even if it's not a true competition.

You are attempting to compare two entirely different games. There isnt even dashing in psabr. the game is much more balanced, online play is great for being within the first 2 weeks of the release, what else do you want? the game is FANTASTIC

This game is better than Smash, in every way.

When Super Smash Bros. 4 comes out for Wii U, I hope it holds out until the next PlayStation All-Stars game.

I didn't say it would be better then brawl but brawl is undoubtedly outdated, and this game is tons of fun and will be for months or years

Seeing as Smash is only fun with friends or tournament gatherings, the chances are very slim.

As much as it saddens me, It didnt really leave an impact on Smash. I wish it did, but it simply did not.

The fighting system, while interesting, just doesnt have that charm that smash does to me. Hopefully in All-Stars 2 they make it more..intruiging.

Outdated? Not in the slightest. It came out years ago yet still has more to do in it then this game, sadly.

I WISH All-Stars will last me for years, but its only been a week and everything has lost its charm. I will never sell it, and i do like All-Stars, but it wasnt as much as i was hoping for.
